I highly recommend the services of Sue DeLegge..
We listed our home with Sue in mid-September, 2009. She and Gina discussed how they would market our home, showed us the comps they used to formulate their pricing recommendation and stressed how much they valued a direct and honest relationship with their clients. Sue concluded by estimating that it would probably take about 60 days to sell our home. Having watch our home sit on the market for six months without an offer while being marketed by another real estate firm in late 2007, I was skeptical about Sue's 60 day estimate of selling time. The market seemed even weaker in 2009 than it had been in 2007. On December 16, 2009, title of our home transferred to the new owner, exactly 60 days after we had signed Sue's listing form. We sold the home for a fair and very acceptable price. Throughout the process, Sue and her associates were completely on top of things. Calls or messages to Sue were routinely returned with 30 minutes, regardless of the time at which they were placed. Discussions about market and price were always open and honest and Sue always was willing to provide up-to-date data about sales, the market and trends so that we quickly found the "right price" for our home. We averaged about 10 showings per week in a very difficult market. Most were well qualified and all were qualified as well as is humanly possible. Sue helped us through the difficult and tension-filled escrow process and covered every detail as professionally as possible. She just knows what she's doing and it shows. And it makes all the difference in the world. If you're thinking of selling your home, you should talk to Sue. If you're thinking of considering another broker to help - you shouldn't. You'll only be wasting time that Sue can be using to get qualified buyers to see your home. Best regards and Happy New Year! Fred

Pricing >Multiple Listing Service
When you list your house with a real estate agent who participates in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), you get a lot of service for your money. Depending upon the MLS region, there may be hundreds of participating members.
The real estate agent who lists your home works to get it sold. This is done by marketing directly to home buyers, but an even more powerful tool is marketing your home to other agents who have buyers. Your real estate agent makes all the crucial information about your home available to the other members through the MLS. Information such as your home's location, size, the number of rooms, the style of architecture, what personal property is included, and any other special features is posted. The MLS description will also contain information about any special financing that might be available, showing instructions, and special needs you may have with respect to closing. The MLS is a powerful tool for real estate matchmakers.
